The link, much like other places online, was also shared by one unknown user on the online forum 4chan’s /v/board. On this day, when Rockstar made the trailer for GTA IV live, gamers overwhelmed the site that was supposed to show the trailer, causing it to crash. But what Rockstar didn’t know was that this day would also go down as one of the most memorable days in pop-culture history. The game would surely go on to become a commercial success.
